My video was inspired by my little cousin. Her name is Ffion, and she loves Hello Kitty and Cupcakes. She also recieved a new teddy bear for Christmas, which is why I incorporated it in my video too. Everything was made with pictures taken one by one. The music was inspired by my thought of this scene being really happy and childish. I searched long and hard for this song, and when i finally found it, all the gears were set in motion. After a few days of hard work, I created a masterpiece, one which I will play at her Wedding in about 20 years. ; )

                The first impression of the image that I had was that it was very simple. As soon as I saw it the message it was sending was very clear to me. Although there could always be a much deeper meaning than what I perceive it to be, the image is very clear. The tree, the only coloured part of the image, stands in the middle. The dominance of this plant is very interesting as it is obvious that it was added onto the background but it seems to fit in together with everything. I believe that is because of the way the highways overlap and seems as if It is going over the tree’s bark and roots. Various curves are used in the image as highways. If I were to think thoroughly, I would say that the highways lead a path for you to look at, but in actuality, it doesn't seem to be that way for me. It seems very bland and dull due to the monochrome colour, and since they all seem like that could stem from the tree, my attention stays on the tree. If I were to point out any form of movement, it would be the cars at the top and bottom of the image.

                I believe the purpose of the image is for the artist to state that there are many things humans create. We keep making and keep destroying. Even though we make sure bad use of our surroundings, there is always room for life. Life can appear anywhere at any time.

This video came from our interpretation of the song Without U, a korean song by the boy-band 2pm. The song was inspired by a video that I watched a few years ago. It was about a couple who seemed really happy, but after certain situations, it was discovered that the girl was cheating on her boyfriend. He finds out and disappears from her life, leaving behind only a ring he had given to her as a promise. He goes into deep depression and after a few months, she calls him to go out again. Much to my disbelief, she ends up giving him the ring back instead of making amends. This song, along with the very sad tunes, make me immediately think of this, and helped us create our video.

Poster Design

My poster is created to atract attention. It includes simplicity yet a strong message that attracts the viewers attention. It was inspired by a poster I have seen previously in elementary school. It has one simple picture and text around it. I picked bold colours that contrasted eachother to make people look when passing by in the plain halls.There are floral designs because I believe it adds a fun touch to the poster with its curls and petals. I am proud of this work because i think it was done well and was finished a good time before the due date, allowing me to edit it more and gather feedback.
